Session 1 | 2nd April | Catching our impulses before they catch us
Use a journal to accelerate our progress through various stages in self-awareness: becoming aware of our actions after we do them, while we are doing them, when we are about to do them, and well before we do them.
Session 2 | 4th April | Shifting our focus from self control to self care
Journaling can help us understand our deeper unmet needs and the many unhealthy superficial ways in which we are trying to cover that inner emptiness. As we learn to take better care of ourselves, self-control becomes easier.
Session 3 | 6th April | Tapping the power of prayer
Make our journal our private worship room where we refine our prayers, making them more specific, more intense, and more consistent. Gain a better sense of God’s hand in our life as he guides us through outer and inner storms toward becoming all that he wants us to be.
